Macca’s Match Up – 2017 Round 13 – Sydney Roosters v Brisbane Broncos

My match up this week is the Roosters who play Broncos on Saturday night. Both sides were featured heavily in the State of Origin game and while we don’t know how many will make the field, the Roosters in Sydney might have the edge over Brisbane.

The majority of the Broncos that played in losing Queensland team might still be feeling a little shattered after Wednesday night. And while there might be a few sore and sorry NSW players as part of the Roosters side, I’m going to bet they have the confidence needed to ground out a win.

Waerea-Hardgreaves will be interesting to watch. With Cordner and Guerra still recovering, I think he will be the one to grab the bull by the horns and lead by example, getting the Roosters the win in what will be a tight one.
