Luke Thornton from Wandoan

Luke Thornton is recovering in the spinal unit at the Princess Alexandria Hospital after a recent car accident.

Luke and his mum Julie were recently visited by Mark Bunting – BMD QLD Welfare & Education Officer and Men of League QLD State Manager Frank Barrett. 

Luke’s mum has been by his side since the accident in July, temporarily relocating to Brisbane from Wandoan. Their hometown is hosting a fundraiser for Luke on 3 December to help raise funds for Luke’s recovery and equipment.
