Laurie Daley – Blues

I wouldn’t have picked the team Laurie picked or played the way they did in Origin Game 1 but whether I agree with the team selections and game plans or not, I do have a hell of a lot of admiration and respect for Laurie’s resolve to stick to what he believes in, and more importantly who he believes in.

Laurie’s game plan might not have been followed, therefore not complementing his team selections! True or not, loyalty is Laurie’s biggest strength whether it be in regards to football or life in general and what we perceive to be his biggest weakness with selections may well turn out to be his and NSW’s biggest strength.

Anyway, we will know after Wednesday night, and I dare say Laurie will as well.
