Kenty’s Man of the Moment – Nathan Brown – Parramatta Eels

Few coaching successes resonate like the job Parramatta coach Brad Arthur has done with Nathan Brown this year.

Bought from South Sydney as an undisciplined risk, labelled a thug at various points this year, Brown has harnessed that energy and become one of the leaders in a Parramatta pack that goes about ruthlessly dismantling the opposition.

Brown has been superb for the Eels. Devastating with the ball and hitting like 10 sticks of dynamite in defence.

On the back of such performances the Eels’ announced themselves as the team capable of taking down hot premiership favourites Melbourne after their performance last weekend and they now go in to Saturday’s semi-final against North Queensland as the smokey tip for the competition.

And much has to do with the form of Brown, who took out Parramatta’s Ken Thornett Medal for the club’s player of the year earlier this month.
