Judiciary Conundrum

Judiciary Conundrum

With Wade Graham a chance of missing his debut for the Blues next week, the question is being raised again of judiciary penalties from an NRL game which will be served for a Representative game or Grand Final.

We have seen so many players in the past miss an important match because of loading or carry over points. This may be the reality for Wade Graham this week, as he does have carry over points which could make him miss Origin 2. No doubt he will fight it. But it brings into question that a lazy high shot on Johnathan Thurston could cost him a start in one of the biggest games of the year.

Players like Steve Roach, John Lomax, Cameron Smith and Isaac Luke have missed a start in Grand Finals due to suspension and maybe there could be a grading system that could alleviate these issues and make sure our best players are on the field for the big games.
