Jackson Hastings – Roosters

The Sydney Roosters face a mountain of expectation from their fans every year and this season won’t be any different. At least in the first few weeks of this year a lot of that expectation – and pressure – is going to rest with Jackson Hastings. With no Michael Jennings, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Boyd Cordner, Mitchell Pearce, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and James Maloney all that expectation is going to rest on Hastings shoulders. Round 1 sees the Roosters facing their old foe in the South Sydney Rabbitohs so there will be no escaping the pressure on Hastings to take control. Hastings ability to shoulder that pressure will have a big influence on the Chook’s chances.
