St George Illawarra player Dan Hunt helps out with Wellbeing Visits

The Mid-West NSW Committee were lucky enough to have former St George Illawarra Dragons player Dan Hunt visit in the past week. Dan has been in the Central West region providing the NRL State of Mind program, which is focused on educating people on mental health and illness, breaking down the stigma and promoting health-seeking behaviour.

He also visited Bathurst resident Chris Culnane and several patients at the Bathurst Hospital with local committee member Royce George.

The highlight of his day was being able to join in a game of backyard cricket with Chris’ children.
