Generous Rhinos lend a hand

Earlier this week, Men of League was very grateful to receive a big cheque from northern Sydney club, Holy Cross Rhinos JRLFC.

The Rhinos were one of many clubs that took part in July’s Pull Your Socks Up weekend and through a variety of fundraising activities, were able to raise an impressive total of $1,931.20.
 
Mums Carol and Sharon volunteered to collect gold coin donations, with other kind mums Alaina, Coco lending their time to take photos and sell raffle tickets.

First prize was a signed 2013 Tigers jersey, which was won by one of the Rhino boys’ grandmothers.

A total of $16,000 was raised from the Men of League Weekend, with all funds going towards assisting members of the league community who have suffered spinal cord injuries.
