Former Sea Eagle Larry Maloney visited by Foundation

Former Manly Warringah Sea Eagles forward Larry Maloney, who is recuperating from a broken leg, was delighted to receive a visit from representatives of the Men of League Foundation recently.

Gold Coast Committee members Greg Sylvester and Greg Rousell, Australian Internationals Dennis Ward and Johnny Lang, former Eastern Suburbs Rooster Tom Coleman and former Chairman of the Australian Rugby League, Ken Arthurson A.M. all visited the former lock.

Whilst recovering in hospital, Larry had to have emergency surgery and now has a pacemaker for his heart.

Larry, Sea Eagle #113, represented Manly Warringah from 1957-59. Upon retiring he was the Chairman of Selectors and long time Committee member for the club. He also assisted with the formation of Western Australian Rugby League.

The Foundation wishes Larry a speedy and full recovery from his operations.
