Flags fly half mast for Brian “Pops” Kelly

Sadly on the 11 December 2013 the flags at the North Narrabeen Surf Life Saving Club were at half mast in honor of Club Member Brian Kelly, who had died from pneumonia during the day at the Collaroy Plateau View Nursing Home.

Brian was born in Hartley NSW and at an early age his Family moved to the Balmain area where he played his junior rugby league days with the Leichhardt Wanders Club and Balmain President's Cup team before playing grade with the Balmain and Newtown District Rugby League Clubs. He then moved into the Manly Warringah area where he became actively involved with the North Narrabeen Surf Life Saving Club and their activities and being a keen swimmer he was a Member of the Club's Shivering Sharks Swimming Club.

Men of League Foundation extends it's sympathies to Brian's family members and he will be dearly missed by his many friends.
