Don Hay – Visit at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst.

Don Hay was visited at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst on Thursday 22 September 2016. He was in Sydney from his home at Griffith for a triple bypass heart operation and is now looking forward to returning to the comfort of his home.

Don had a lengthy playing career with Griffith Black and Whites and informed me that his favoured position was second row but during his playing career he had played in every position for the club.

He was presented with a Men of League polo shirt and a copy of the Men of League magazine.

Ex-Griffith man Peter Keenan, who is now an active member of the Sydney Metro Committee, informed us that Don was in hospital after he had also visited him.

If you know of any of our country mates who are in Sydney for treatment, please contact Men of League and advise them so that we can call and see them.

As was the case with Don, it is sometimes difficult for family members to make the trip to visit them whilst they are recovering in Sydney.
