Celebrities to join Men of League & Multicap for Race of Legends

Former rugby league players Nathan Friend, Michael Crocker and David Stagg will headline the Men of League Foundation’s and Multicap’s Race of Legends at Slideways Go Karting Eagle Farm on Friday 6 July.

The NRL trio will be joined by Olympic walking bronze medalist Dane Bird-Smith and Ninja Warrior grand finalist Ryan Solomon.

The ability to be a participant in this race is completely open to the public with the only prerequisite creating an online fundraising page on the Race of Legends Everyday Hero page and raising a minimum of $500.

Funds raised from the race will support Multicap’s Inter Service Cup, a rugby league day for people with disabilities and also the Men of League Foundation’s mission to support the men, women and children within the rugby league community.

“Multicap are a fantastic organisation and the Foundation are very excited to be joining forces with them for the Race of Legends” said Men of League Foundation Queensland Manager David Shillington.

“The calibre of special guests that have kindly offered their time for the race is truly outstanding. We may have seen these top-tier athletes and chefs perform under some immense pressure before, but the pressure of performing behind the wheel will be a new experience for them all!

“The Race of Legends provides an opportunity for two organisations to come together and raise funds for an excellent cause. We encourage anyone who hasn’t created an account to jump online and check the Race of Legends page out and for those in a position to do so, to donate generously,” David concluded.

Anyone who would like to create an online fundraising page for the Race of Legends can do so via the Every Day Hero page.
