Bathurst local Terry ‘Tex’ Stevens gets a visit

Mid West Committee member Royce George took the time to see Terry ‘Tex’ Stevens who had a stroke in recent times. Tex played with Bathurst Charlestons as well as coaching. He was a very active committee member and cooked at the local rugby league grounds on match days.

His enthusiasm in organising Men of League Foundation local fundraising days, being the bus driver for golf days is something he still talks about. He is a club member and very passionate supporter of Sydney Roosters. His whole family have been involved in some way, shape or form of local rugby league in Bathurst.
