Back to the Game at Brookvale Oval

When the Panthers faced the Sea Eagles at Brookvale Oval recently, the Northern Sydney Men of League Committee members took the chance to take a number of former players to the game.

The Men of League ICAP Back to the Game program sees the Foundation take ex footy players or residents from nursing homes to a weekend NRL game.

Among the group that went to Brooky, MOL were proud to invite Board member and former Western Suburbs, Qld and Australia player Noel Kelly,  former Manly Warringah players Norm Pounder Snr, Norm Pounder Jnr, Lindsay Drake, Gary Toole, Vic Baker, former man Newtown Tony Howard and Fred Jackson representing South Sydney/Eastern Suburbs.

It was a great afternoon out, with everyone enjoying Penrith’s thrilling come-from-behind 28-26 victory.

Our thanks are extended to the Sea Eagles management for providing the excellent seating.
