Assisting our little mate, Digby

Digby Simmonds may have faced more adversity in his 19-months on Earth than others might for an entire lifetime.

He has faced a number of health challenges which has resulted in him spending eight of those months in hospital.

The Men of League Foundation have assisted Digby by providing him with an oximeter, an instrument for measuring the proportion of oxygenated haemoglobin in the blood, which is a potentially life preserving piece of equipment.

National Wellbeing manager Jessica Macartney recently made a visit to see Digby and Jess in Tamworth alongside North West committee president Kevin Robinson.

“We visited Digby and Jess to see how they were going after receiving their oximeter and I am happy to say he is doing well,” Jessica said.

“He is a fabulous toddler with a very loving family.”

The Foundation wishes Digby and Jess the best and hope the oximeter can make life a little easier.
