Anne meets her idol Wally Fullerton Smith after tragic loss

Back in October last year, we paid a visit to Anne and her husband Gary, who had been undergoing chemotherapy to treat lung cancer. Sadly, in November, Gary passed away.

After the heartbreaking loss of her husband, we were glad to continue supporting Anne by organising a visit from one of her rugby league idols.

Our Queensland Committee member and rugby league legend, Wally Fullerton Smith, visited Anne to present her with a voucher for Christmas to help ease the emotional and financial stress of dealing with the loss of a loved one during the holiday season.
