A special surprise for our passionate volunteers

For National Volunteer Week, the Men of League Foundation have been going around to some of our Committees and surprising the hard-working Wellbeing Officers with visits from a few familiar faces.

The videos below are a touching tribute to the amazing work that our volunteers do, and the impact they can have on the lives of those who need it most.

Vince, from our Newcastle chapter, is a caring, honest man who gave his all to help Hayley Williams and her two children, Lachlan and Laylah when their father, Lance passed away.

Meanwhile, on the Sunshine Coast, volunteer Mick Legg was surprised by Flynn Thorne and his mum Eve.

Mick has become a male role model for Flynn since he lost his dad some time ago.
