A Christmas message from one of our welfare recipients

We always love hearing from people Men of League has helped over the years and we are thrilled to share with you a message from welfare recipient Michelle Jeffery. 

Earlier this year Stuart Raper, Ben Ross and Norm Pounder from Men of League visited Michelle at Royal Rehab. Michelle suffered a spinal injury after being dumped onto a sandbank and after just seven months she was discharged to return home to the Central Coast. 

Michelle returns for outpatient check-ups and now walks with the assistance of crutches. The use of her hand is improving with every message she writes, like the one she has shared with us. Michelle says that she does miss the social companionship of the Royal Rehab people and the visits from Men of League.
