2012: Launch of Australian Rugby League Commission
After nearly four years in the making, the Australian Rugby League Commission was launched on Friday 10 February 2012. Heralding a new age of independent governance and officially the sole controlling body and administrator of rugby league, the formation of the Commission was a historic day in rugby league and closed the final chapter in a deep rift in the game.
